Green Waterfall Screensaver

Green Waterfall Screensaver

Animated screensaver featuring a waterfall in the middle of a forest

Forests and waterfalls can form a wonderful and relaxing combination. This screensaver is apparently intended to convey those feelings, but, unfortunately, it fails in doing so. Although the background image is beautiful, the animated effect of the water is not convincing at all. It looks like a corrugate cardboard instead of moving water, despite the matching sound effects.

The screensaver features a control panel that lets you customize some of its features, like the animation quality and speed. Also, you can add your own music to create a soundtrack to play along with, or instead of, the sound effects. You can choose to show or hide the clock and change its placing on the screen. If you like the background image of the screensaver, you can use it as your desktop wallpaper.

Apart from the low quality of the animated effect, this program has another disadvantage: its installation wizard forces you to install the ScreensaversList toolbar and changes your Web browser's homepage to that of the company. You can undo this change and uninstall the toolbar, but if you add this drawback to the crumminess of the animation, then you may find that the program is not worth the trouble at all.
